Saatifil Polyester Mesh Material

Saatifil is 100% polyester fabric used in leaf casting and paper infill machines, as a fine support when drying and many other conservation practices requiring a fine mesh fabric.

• Backing or interleaving due being inert 100% polyester
• Mesh screen when vacuum cleaning items reducing suction and preventing fragments from being lost
• Smooth surface which prevents sticking, especially useful when using wet pulp
• Air permeable 120 micron mesh opening (41% open surface area) 51gsm, 64 micron thread diameter (see close-up image)
• Soft and drapeable material which doesn’t stretch and is impervious to water making it ideal as a drying support or for use on a suction table preventing platen or shelf from leaving impressions.
