Photo envelopes made from PAT passed buffered stock

PEL’s acid-free Photo and negative envelopes feature side seams for even filing and stacking and are constructed using a neutral pH adhesive. The material is natural coloured unbleached paper with no OBAs, buffered with 3% calcium carbonate to help retard migrant acidity.

Passes Photographic Activity Test.

We have eliminated the centre seam which could mark the contents if too much pressure or weight is applied. Instead we have incorporated two side seams that are not only safer, but provide more even stacking and filing in large groups.

We’re upgrading these envelopes from 120gsm to 200gsm PAT tested paper. Specification will depend upon size. Eventually all stock will be made from the upgraded 200gsm material.
