Olfa MC45 mat cutter is perfect for cutting 45 degree bevels on mounting board.

Ideal for cutting rectangular openings when mounting and framing. The 45 degree angle makes for an attractive professional edge.

Using the Mat board cutter: Draw a cutting guide in pencil on your mount board. Use the anti-slip pads to prevent your cutting guide from moving. Cutting from either the front or the back of the board (paying attention to the direction of the bevelled edge), gradually slide the blade out cutting deeper and deeper with each pass across the cut line. Do not attempt to cut too deeply with the initial cut.
