Neschen Filmoplast T – Cloth Tape

Filmoplast® T can be used for a number of applications from book and conservation repair, to framing and hinging. The strong 240micron tape is constructed of acid-free Rayon staple thread. The acrylic adhesive is solvent and acid-free, providing a strong bond that will not yellow.

Example uses include:

• Covering or repairing stitched book block spines (backlining), laminating book covers or complete books.
• Strengthen the first and last sheet in the fold when hand stitching.
• Reverse-side strengthening of maps and plans
• Dust-free sealing in picture framing
• Passe Partout frames
